Lisa was born on 24th August, 1974 at the Buchanan Hospital, London Road, St Leonards-on-Sea. Son of Mark and Dawn White. She was educated at West St. Leonards County Primary School and at the Grove School, St Leonards-on Sea. She lives with her partner Terry Puxtey. Darren was born on 8th October, 1971 at the Buchanan Hospital, London Road, St Leonards-on-Sea. Son of Mark and Dawn White. He was educated at West St. Leonards County Primary School and at the Grove School, St Leonards-on Sea. Employed by BPB at their base in Robertsbridge. Married Caroline Spray at St Luke’s Church, St Leonards on 22 May, 2004. Hobbies and interests include computing, snow boarding and heavy rock music. WENDY WHITE
1962 -

Wendy was born on 15th January, 1962 at Fernbank Hospital, Hastings. First daughter of Roy and Pam Bungard. She has a younger sister - Louise. Attended Elphinstone County Primary School Hastings and Hastings Secondary School for Girls before completing a degree in English and Education as Bishop Otter College, Chichester. Worked in the Health Service, Local Government and Civil Service before starting her own company - White Square Associates - in 1995. Hobbies and interests include reading, fashion and psychology.

Married Mark in 1989. They have one son - John - who takes up most of her spare time.

MARK WHITE
1946 -

Mark was born on 19th December, 1946 at home in Caves Road, St Leonards-on-Sea. Only son of John and Gwendoline White. He has a twin sister Carol who now lives in South Wales. Educated at West St. Leonards County Primary School and Hastings Grammar School. Currently employed in the NHS with previous work experience in high volume manufacturing of television, audio and medical products. Hobbies and interests include Scouting, cinema and sports - especially cricket and football.

Married Wendy in 1989. They have one son - John. Mark also has two children - Darren and Lisa - from a previous marriage.

PAMELA BUNGARD
1943 -

Pam was born in St Leonards-on-Sea on 13 April, 1943. Eldest daughter of Dorothy and Bill. She has sister (Susan) and a younger brother Trevor. She has two daughters, Wendy and Louise. Now retired she used to work in Local Government. Hobbies and interests include "The Grandchildren", reading and porcelain dolls.

Roy was born in Shoreham-on-Sea on 9th April, 1937. He married Pam on 31 December, 1960. He was employed for many years by South Eastern Electricity Board. Hobbies and interests included his two daughters, sport-especially football, steam trains and reading.

GWENDOLINE WHITE
1917 - 2003

Gwen was born on 13 July, 1917 at Epping, Essex. The youngest of five children she has two brothers and two sisters. She married John at Hastings Register Office in September 1943. They had two children. Twins Mark and Carol born on 19th December, 1946.

JOHN WHITE
1922 - 1997

John was born on 31 May, 1922 at Hastings, East Sussex. The youngest brother of Alfie, Mabel, Edie, and Lou. He married Gwen at Hastings Register Office in September 1943 whilst still on active service with the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve. They had two children. Twins Mark and Carol born on 19th December, 1946. His early working life after the war was spent in the gas industry with the Hastings Gas Company which became part of British Gas. Later on he spent a number of years working for East Sussex County Council before retiring in 1987. He had continued the family tradition of fishing until he sold his boat and gear in the mid 1960s.

HILDA WARNER
1880 - 1962

Hilda Lilian Christine Doris Grey was born on 31 August, 1880 somewhere in the Midlands. She married Bert. They had five children, Bill, Hilda (Ciss), Marge, George and Gwen. Living on a small holding she and Bert grew there own vegetables and kept chicken and turkeys.

HERBERT WARNER
1892 - 1972

Herbert (Bert) Edward was born on 9 April, 1892 at Hatfield in Hertfordshire. He had two sisters and a brother. He married Hilda on "Old Christmas Day". Served in the British Army in Great War taking part in the campaigns at Galipoli and on the Somme. He worked most of his early life in agriculture as a farmworker and then later as a gardener before retirement.

CAROLINE WHITE
1884 - 1950

Caroline Wilkins was born in Hastings on 29 November, 1884. Daughter of a blacksmith she married Alfred (a fisherman) on 26 December, 1904. They had five children who survived into adult life - Edith, Louise, Mabel, Alfred and John.

ALFRED WHITE
1883 - 1956

Alfred was born in Hastings on 5 March, 1883. Both he and Caroline lived in the "Old Town". They married in 1904. He spent his life as a fisherman and served in a reserved occupation as a coastguard/fisherman in both World Wars.
